Metal heat treatment is one of the important processes in mechanical manufacturing. Precautions for the heat treatment of the coupling, the heating must be slow, segmented heating is necessary, and the Aohua heat preservation must be sufficient, generally using a trolley furnace to dry. Low-carbon low-alloy steel is directly quenched with brine, and medium-carbon alloy structural steel is quenched with water and oil. The effective thickness is calculated by the effective thickness of the residence time in water, which is included in the general technical data book. The new aqueous cooling medium is suitable for forgings with simple shapes, single coupling materials and products. Personal opinion is that it can be used if conditions are met, and it is better if the conditions are not met. The original state of large forgings is necessary, and it is necessary to detect the microstructure, especially the serious Widmanstatten structure must be eliminated by the correct process.


Generally, the coupling should be equipped with a torsion angle limiter. Under special circumstances, it is not necessary to install it. When the coupling is used, the relative offset of the two connected shafts should not be greater than the specified allowable compensation. There should be no bumps, cracks, lack of glue and other defects on the rubber surface of the coupling. There should be no tearing off at the rubber and metal bonding, and the film marks with a depth of more than 1.0mm, slight bumps and burrs, and there should be no more than 1.5 air bubbles, rubber surface defects outside this range are allowed to be ground once. The rubber in the metal, the outer wheel surface and the metal hole should be clear and clean. During the static torsion test of the rubber elastic ring of the coupling, the rubber of the rubber elastic ring should not have any cracks and the phenomenon of rubber and metal ripping under the instantaneous maximum torque.
